Guacamole

Avocados puréed to a creamy consistency and combined with tomatoes, onions, and cilantro in this tasty guacamole.


Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 0 minutes

Yields: 4 servings


Ingredients:

2 avocados, pitted and peeled

1/4 cup peas (fresh or frozen)

2 tablespoons lime juice

1 garlic clove

1/8 teaspoon sea salt

1 teaspoon cumin powder

1/4 teaspoon ancho chili powder

1/4 cup small diced red onion

1 tomato, finely chopped

1/2 jalapeño, seeded and minced

1 1/2 tablespoons chopped cilantro

Directions:

  1. In a food processor, combine the avocados, peas, lime juice, garlic sea salt, cumin, and chili powder. Pulse, leaving visible chunks.

  2. Transfer the guacamole to a large bowl and fold in the onion, tomato, jalapeño, and cilantro. Refrigerate for an hour before serving.
